What you can do from a customer's Card Details screen

Use Card details to reinstall a customer's pass or view their stamp and reward history.

Written by Nyi Nyi Zaw

Need to give a customer a fresh copy of their pass, or pull up their stamp and reward history?

Scan a customer's card to open Card details. From there, tap the Pass Reinstall QR icon (top-right) to help them re-add their card to Wallet, or tap the customer info card near the top to open Card Events and see their full stamp and reward history.

Before you start

  • Where to find this: Home screen → scan the customer's card → Card details.

  • Pass Reinstall QR - for when a customer's Wallet pass was accidentally deleted, or you're putting the same card on a second device. You'll need something scannable that still opens their card (the pass on another device, a printout, or a saved screenshot of their QR) - the Stamper app only reaches a card by scanning it, so this won't work if the customer has nothing left to scan at all.

  • Card Events - for when a customer disputes their stamp count, or you just want to confirm a redemption went through.

Terminology

  • Send GPS location: an optional Settings → Card processing toggle that tags where a stamp or redemption happened. Off by default - see "Why does the Stamper app ask for certain permissions?" for details.

Reinstalling a pass

  1. On Card details, tap the Pass Reinstall QR icon in the top-right.

  2. Ask the customer to scan the QR code with their phone's camera.

  3. Confirm they tap through to add the card back to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet.

This reinstalls the customer's existing card - it doesn't create a new one or reset their stamp count. It's also how you put the same card on a second device: reinstall it on the new phone while the original stays put. Tap the copy or share icon on this screen to send the reinstall link another way (text, email) if the customer isn't in front of you.

💡 If the customer has nothing scannable left at all The Stamper app itself can't look them up by name or email. Whoever has access to the Loopy Loyalty web dashboard can still find them under Customers and send a fresh card link from there - see "If my customer accidentally removes their card, how can they restore it?" in the Help Center for that method.

Viewing stamp and reward history

  1. On Card details, tap the customer info card (name, stamps, rewards) near the top to open Card Events.

  2. Tap any event to expand it and see extra detail - who performed it, and where.

Events are listed newest first, and cover everything: Enrolled, Earned stamps, Earned rewards, Redeemed rewards, Forfeited rewards, Card Deleted, and wallet installs/removals. Expanding an event shows the Username of whoever performed it - useful for confirming which staff member added or removed a stamp, not just when. A Location and small map only appear if GPS location was captured for that event (see Send GPS location in Settings → Card processing); if it wasn't, you'll see "Location unavailable" instead.

Good to know

  • Both features live one tap away from the same Card details screen - you always get there by scanning the customer's card first.

  • Card Events shows one customer's history at a time, from the app, in-store. If you need to check every customer at once - for reporting, or from a desk rather than the shop floor - the Loopy Loyalty web dashboard's Customers tab covers that instead.
