Make - How to receive an email when a customer enrols

Use Make to automatically receive an email every time a customer enrols in your loyalty program

1 - Login to Make and click on the button 'Create a New Scenario'.​

For the first module select "Loopy Loyalty", then select "Watch Enrolments". This will monitor for a new enrolments to your Loopy Loyalty program.

2. Add a Webhook

Click on the Loopy Loyalty module and click "add" next to "Choose a Hook"

3. Create the Webhook

Name your webhook. Then if you haven't already connected your Loopy Loyalty account click "Add", and enter your Loopy Loyalty account credentials to log in.

When this is done, select the stamp card to be used in this scenario.

Click 'Save' and 'Ok' when done.

4. Add the email module

Click on the plus button to add another module. Then search "Email" and select "Send an Email"

5. Create the Email Connection

I am using a Google account, so I am using the Google Restricted connection. If you are using another provider, please check the Make documentation for specific instructions.

Follow the process defined in Make to make your connection, with Google I just need to sign in, or choose the account to be used if I am already signed in.

6. Define the email settings

  • Set the email address the email needs to be sent to

  • Add the subject to be used

  • Select the content type - I'm using HTML in this example

  • Add the email body content - You can add specific data from the enrolled member, like name and email address

7. Test the scenario

Click on "Run Once" to start the scenario, if there are no errors click on the "save" icon and switch on the scenario.

That's it, all done!
